How can i download my digital copy to the site: Is this the life we really want?i have the coupon, the site, but what i need to put in the username/passqord field?
  • Zeli
My CD version has a separate booklet with texts translated into Polish.
  • Daigrel
no problem at all with this pressing (european). excellent album though a little bit too expected music from waters. in french we would say « un peu téléphoné  ». brilliant production
  • นℕĨĈტℝ₦
always the same frustration: us-releases better sound but poor pressing... eu-releases the opposite... can somebody confirm, that he has a clean us without surface noise and crackling?
  • Tat
Does anyone know about a misprint of this vinyl lp?I have the european version (88985 43649 1 5) and the side A label is none existent and instead it has the side B label. So vinyl one has double side B labellingCan anybody explain this?
  • Tygrarad
I have opened 4 different copies, all of them had scruffs and damage.. and the asshole at sony music, tells me that is is like never happening.... somebody at the press factory should loose their job...
  • Aria
those scuffs come from the shitty paper they use, all the new records i've bought in recent years are scuffed as soon as i take them out of the sleeve for the first time
  • Golkree
Still has fire in his belly!!!! I love this album - Deja Vu is simply amazingly, everything you can expect from Mr Waters and more!!!
  • Golden freddi
On my disks the one with side A and B has the label with side C and side D glued on it (Made in EU) - somebody has the same issue?Nice album, nice recording and engineering with a little bit too much overall compression / limiting.
  • Eyalanev
I have the european version (88985 43649 1 5) and the side A label is none existent and instead it has the side B label. So vinyl one has double side B labelling...i wonder whats going on...
  • Cyregaehus
I've seen 4 copies of this vinyl and all of them had scuffing on the second disc. My third copy plays though without problems on the scuffing marks, while the first had scratch noises passing over the marks. It's the luck of the draw with this pressing. Open your copy up before leaving shop. It will be very difficult selling any of these pressings as Near Mint second hand.
  • Gashakar
Excellent vinyl records. Roger Waters is a great artist and the songs too. I recommand to guet this record.
  • Naril
Mine pulled out scuffed as well, plus vinyl debris like spider web...hate those paper sleeves. Album is great though...
  • Windbearer
My copy is also scuffed. It plays with light 'ticks' on some sides/songs. Indeed a bit sad that the record companies don't see the need to include quality inner sleeves to protect the records. Instead if printed inner sleeves, just give us nice poly lined sleeves and a printed insert for the lyrics or additional info.
  • Burirus
Mine's a flawless copy as well but I wish it came with a poly inner-sleeve. Great great mastering. Superb sonics and a few solid tunes with a lot of help from old ones!
  • Sataxe
Yep. Polylined inners are what ALL records should come in. Paper and cardboard inner sleeves simply scuff the surface of the record. This isn't rocket science yet here we are in 2018 STILL getting new LPs without polylined inners despite having to pay through the nose for them.
  • Nirad
Received a flawless pressing, without a single blemish, pop, or crackle. Vinyl sounds lovely and smooth. There's actually some nice dynamic range as well. Love Roger, love this album! Content wise, I'll say this album is appropriately Roger, and quite appropriately relevant.
  • Anayaron
Really bad vinyl pressing. After 4 opened records I give up. All scuffled. Sound is not so much affected, but looks like you treated the records bad. Shame on Columbia, to let this out to the stores.
  • Fani
In comparison to a "normal" Pop-Album in these times it sounds great. For Pink Floyd/Roger waters fans it sounds less dynamic. Far away from late Pink Floyd and ATD. The drums are mixed too defensive, no bass-sound. And by the way, there is nothing new on this album...
  • adventure time
Great album! Maybe his best solo performance. The lyrics are angry and poetic at the same time. Waters at his best.
  • Ydely
Not in the same league as Blackstar but this IS Pink Floyd more than Gilmour will ever be. Great lyrics. Best LP after Amused to Death. Nice one Rog. Try and get another one in eh?
  • heart of sky
I wasn't expecting another "amused to death" ???? album ( as this one for me is worthy of all PF collection together ) ???? my first impression is of a sad old man playing guitar and moaning next to some radio that spits out some news update that drives us all miserable ⚰️ Still it might take time for me to find if this album makes perfect sense. But I'll stand by Roger no matter what
  • Iaran
Nice album. Three sides are in fact a continuation of The Wall. At least in music. And the lyrics are great.Side D is a little bit more 'Animals'. I see now why Roger did not make a record since 1992. In fact this is his best record since the Wall, but it's not very special and not very renewing. He can't do what e.g. David Bowie could: astonish his public with something really good and new at old age. But maybe we expect too much from Roger. It's a decent record though. The record quality of the vinyl is good. The vinylmix is also good. Not as good as the last two Pink Floyd records, but good.
  • Xangeo
I don't agree with you, but it's also not what I meant. I was referring to the vinyl in the last sentence, not to the music. The last two records of Pink Floyd were recorded fabulously and have a very good vinylmix. But I also think that The Division Bell is much better then everything Roger Waters has done solo. He made great records and indeed he was Pink floyd for a while, until The Wall. After that he lost it completely and I think this record is his best since The Wall. But as it is with every other piece of music: that's just a matter of taste :-)
  • TheJonnyTest
Seriously? This IS Pink Floyd. Not the shit Gilmour makes with his wife. Couldn't be more AnimalsWelcome to the machine if it tried.
  • Jek
Badly scuffed discs which HMV were more than happy to replace, opened 3 further albums in store to find them all the same.Let's hope the repress is soon
  • Visonima
Why is US version so expensive compared to EU version ? We're talking x 2 here.
  • Kajishakar
The CD sounds terrible, is the LP any better? Heres Hoping ... I'm not sure how he mastered it, infact it wouldnt not surprise me if he attempted to do it all himself.
  • Marinara
giroserex I'm not sure how he mastered it, infact it wouldnt not surprise me if he attempted to do it all himself. Maybe you should read the credits, just saying...
  • Rageseeker
LP is even darker in sound due to distortion of bass that is typical for vinyl.
  • Wanenai
Exactly the same master on CD and LP. The production is very dim and bassy.
  • Unereel
LP version absolutely better. Hearing it in headphones is fantastic.
  • Zyangup
Nothing but average sound and music 25 years back (with very little progress), too familiar (as I would know every song) and too close to old times.Content of words/lyrics is great, but music close to background music for elevators: without edges, surprises or anything else interesting. Only side D is touchy and emotional - that's all within 25 years? You better take all the "Wall"-songs which are not popular but rather depressive and you got sides A, B and C. Boring average, sorry.Maybe a book would have been a better choice ... the artwork of the vinyl is well done, would fit to a book also ...
  • Mr_Jeйson
Great album. Side D marked/scratched though, trying to get replacement from HMV online.
  • Nalmetus
I never thought to get HMV to open it to check. Noted for future purchases. When I opened mine at home there were some surface marks and scuffs on both records (as is sadly all too common these days) but none of them affect playback at all, and that's after listening to it via headphones. LPs now decanted to polylined sleeves.
  • Dog_Uoll
HMV staff went out of their way to exchange damaged grazed disc copy. After opening 3 new albums in store we found one with only a minor marks to disc 2 that I excepted and it plays fine. BEWARE, check the discs before leaving shop.
