Max Brennan - Alien To Whom? MP3 FLAC

Max Brennan steps out under his own name for <I>Alien to Whom?</I>, and it’s quite a change from his Fretless AZM project. For one, there’s more rhythm and electronics on these tracks, and they seem to be better thought out. “1300 Milliseconds of Brass” throws in the blaring horns for a thrilling ride, while “Fusion Spot” moves in a more downtempo vein. “Alien to Whom?” is glimmering tech-house second to none; “Venusian Shuffle” goes for some minor key funk; and the final track, “Mind the Gap” just descends into rhythmic chaos halfway through. Quite a change of pace, and certainly a welcome one!
