Really, Altona are the same band as Thrice Mice, but some time later and with a different style. Interestingly Karl Heinz Blumenberg's vocals are even more Bernd Noske (Birth Control) like than before, the music is jazzier/funkier, and they often feel as much like a Dutch band as they do Krautrock. A great album, full of instrumental diversity, multi saxes and guitars, complex compositions and good strong songs that don't hog the album too much, counterpointing the many breaks and diversions. Quite a sizzler in all.
